What the audit measures

Ten questions across the three layers a leadership system runs on. Each question maps to a named framework from The Resilience Engine, so a low score points at a specific thing to install rather than a vague weakness.

Personal Infrastructure

Four questions, 20 points: the Energy Audit, the Eisenhower Matrix, Deep Work, and emotional regulation under pressure.

Team Systems

Three questions, 15 points: Situational Leadership II, async-first communication with SMART goals, and Kaizen improvement cadence.

Strategic Architecture

How the scoring works

Ten questions, scored 1 to 5 each, for a maximum of 50. It takes about five minutes.

Each layer is scored as a percentage of its own maximum, so a three-question layer is not penalised against a four-question one.

Your total places you in one of three zones: Running on Effort (10–22), Partially Built (23–37), or Systems-Operational (38–50).

The result names your weakest layer — the infrastructure gap — and which framework addresses it.

How is this different from the burnout diagnostic?

The audit gives you the snapshot — which of the three layers is weakest right now. The diagnostic gives you the prescription — which frameworks to install, in what order. Most people run the audit first.

What are the score zones?

Running on Effort (10–22) means the operation is held together by personal effort rather than documented infrastructure. Partially Built (23–37) means infrastructure exists but is not yet load-bearing. Systems-Operational (38–50) means the systems work and the question becomes scale.
