Burnout Systems Diagnostic

Your burnout isn't a personal failure. It's a systems failure.

Take the 5-minute Burnout Systems Diagnostic and find out exactly what's broken.

What You'll Discover

Decision Systems

How you triage, delegate, and prioritize under pressure

Energy Management

How you protect cognitive capacity across the workweek

Team Synchronization

How your team operates without you as the bottleneck

Complexity Response

How you navigate disruption, AI integration, and strategic risk

Most leaders hit the wall and assume it's them. They work harder. They sleep less. They push through. And nothing changes, because they're treating a systems problem like a willpower problem. This diagnostic identifies exactly which systems are broken.

What the diagnostic measures

Standard burnout instruments score the person: exhaustion, detachment, reduced accomplishment. This one scores the four systems around the person, because burnout in an operating role is usually a structural symptom rather than a personal one. Twelve questions, three per system.

  • Decision Systems

How you triage, delegate, and prioritize under pressure.

  • Energy Management

How you protect cognitive capacity across the workweek.

  • Team Synchronization

How your team operates without you as the bottleneck.

  • Complexity Response

How you navigate disruption, AI integration, and strategic risk.

How the scoring works

  1. Twelve questions, scored 0 to 3 each, for a maximum of 36. It takes about four minutes.

  2. Each of the four systems carries three questions, so the breakdown shows which system is weakest rather than only how tired you feel.

  3. Your total places you in one of three tiers: Reactive Operator (0–10), Fragile Systems (11–26), or Systems-Ready (27–36).

  4. The results name the frameworks to install, in order, starting with the layer that is actually failing.

Questions operators ask

Is the burnout diagnostic free?
Yes. Twelve questions, no payment, and the results appear immediately after you finish.
How is this different from a normal burnout test?
Most burnout instruments come from the Maslach lineage and score the individual — exhaustion, depersonalization, reduced accomplishment. This diagnostic scores the system around the individual instead: decision systems, energy management, team synchronization, and complexity response. It tells you which structure is failing, not how depleted you feel.
How long does it take?
About four minutes. Twelve questions, one screen at a time.
What do I get at the end?
A score out of 36, a tier, a breakdown of which of the four systems scored lowest, and a prescribed sequence of frameworks to repair it in order.
Do I need to give my email?
Yes, at the end, to receive the results. You answer every question before anything is asked of you.
Is this a clinical assessment?
No. It is an operational diagnostic for people running teams, not a medical or psychological instrument, and it is not a substitute for clinical advice.
