I was born in Nicaragua during the Sandinista Revolution. Displaced at age three. My family was smuggled across borders, rebuilt in a new country, and started over with nothing. Adaptability wasn’t a leadership framework for me. It was a survival condition.

I didn’t invent these 19 frameworks. Ikigai emerged from centuries of Japanese culture. Jay Barney developed VRIO through academic research. Cal Newport built Deep Work through disciplined study.
